The HEALTHCOM'24 Communication, Terminology and Health Conference follows the tradition of the previous editions in 2017, 2019 and 2022, which consists of holding an interdisciplinary scientific conference, aimed at researchers and professionals in the fields of health, applied linguistics, terminology and communication in this field.

This year, communication and health information for children who are healthy or sick, is the central theme of the Conference: reflections, strategies, resources and experiences in the field of pediatrics, from different perspectives. All teachers, students and healthcare professionals or professionals who work with the language, communication and discourse of health sciences are invited.

HEALTHCOM'24 is part of the activities derived from the LEXMED project (2022-2025), aimed at the dynamic construction of terminological meaning in medicine through a school lexicographic corpus.

Presentations, project presentations and strategy workshops

Within the framework of this conference, on 3rd October, presentations and project presentations will take place, while on the morning of the 4th, two workshops on strategies to communicate with pediatric patients and their families will be organized.
