Iker Jauregui is a PhD in Philosophy (Universidad Complutense de Madrid, 2023) with a thesis on the category of "human capital". He has written on philosophy and Marxism, on the history of ideas and on culture and economics under capitalism; he has given courses and lectures on Marx and classical philosophy, on Michel Foucault and May '68, on Fordism and post-Fordism and, in general, on the relationship between subjectivity and political economy. He has been a visiting researcher in Paris-Nanterre. His areas of research are: Marxism, social philosophy, political economy, cultural theory.
