The contest "Present your thesis in 4 minutes" is organised by the FCRI with the support of the Generalitat de Catalunya and the 12 Catalan universities. It poses the challenge to doctoral students of any scientific discipline to explain their research in 4 minutes in a simple and understandable language for the general public.

Final contest "Present your thesis in 4 minutes" 2024

On 27 June (6 p.m.), the CaixaForum auditorium in the city of Tarragona will host the final of the seventh edition of the competition, in a public event, which will be broadcast via video streaming on the FCRI's YouTube channel.

The finalists of the competition have passed the preliminary and final qualifying tests of their universities. Three prizes will be awarded. The first and second prizes will be awarded on the basis of the jury's assessment, plus a prize for public voting.
